The Innocence Forum was set up to offer support to, and campaign for wrongly convicted prisoners in Louisiana.
All the prisoners focussed on by the forum- are completely innocent of the crime they are serving their prison sentence for
- have evidence of their innocence and an explanation of how their wrongful conviction occurred
- have been sentenced to spend at least 25 years in prison
- have been wrongly convicted as a result of racism and are from Louisiana
